1. Ben Stokes:
The most expensive player of IPL 2018 is going to be Benjamin Stokes who got sold to Rise Pune Super Giants for 145 million Indian Rupees. Ben is a right handed English star cricketer who plays as an all-rounder. Ben Stokes getting the highest price is definitely a surprise for the cricket fans and a matter of honor for Ben himself. Ben has been a struggling player at the start of the career but his hard work which he had put through all these years finally paid off. Now he is one of the key players for his national side and his club side do have the same expectations from his. 2. Tymal Mills.
The player who got second position in the list of most expensive players is Tymal Mills who is also from England. On a final bid of 120 million INR, Royal Challengers Bangalore got this man. In no time, this speed star rose to some great fame and that is due to the fact, he has got really nice line and length. 3. Trent Boult.
In this list, the player which made to the 3rd position is Trent Boult from New Zealand who is left handed fast bowler and got sold to Kolkata Knight Riders for 50 million Indian rupees making him third most expensive foreign player of Vivo Ipl 11 auction. He is also known for his quick bowling action and emerged as one of the quickest bowlers in the World Cup of 2015. Boult made his Test debut for New Zealand in December 2011 and his one-day international debut the following July. He was the joint leading wicket taker at the 2015 Cricket World Cup. Trent Boult became the ICC’s No.1 Ranked ODI Bowler in January 2016.
4. Kagiso Rabada.
Of some of the emerging player we have been seeing lately, Kagiso Rabada is one of them. He plays for the national side of South Africa and is quick right arm bowler. Initially, King XI Punjab has their eyes on the man but he eventually got sold to Delhi for a price of 50 million. He made his South African debut in November 2014 in limited-overs cricket before going on to make his Test debut in November 2015. Rabada attended St Stithians Boys College, leaving the school in 2013. In July 2016, Rabada became the first cricketer to win six awards at Cricket South Africa’s annual dinner, including the prize for Cricketer of the Year.
5. Pat Cummins.
Pat Cummins, an emerging and very talented fast bowlers from Australia got sold to Delhi Daredevils for a price of 50 million and it seems that Delhi have got some really good deals in this year’s auction. Cummins played junior cricket at Glenbrook Blaxland Cricket Club in the Blue Mountains before playing first-grade cricket for Penrith in 2010. Chris is a right arm fast bowler who plays for the national side of England and in the IPL auction 2018, he was picked up by KKR for a good price of 42 million INR. He will make his IPL debut in 2018, playing for the Kolkata Knight Riders after being bought for £504,140 (Rs. 4.2 crores) in the players auction for IPL 2018. 7. Rashid Khan.
In the meanwhile, this lad from Afghanistan clinched the hearts of the cricket fans with his recent T20 performances which got Mumbai Indians and Sun Risers Hyderabad to bid again and again and finally got sold to Hyderabad for 40 million INR.
8. Nathan Coulter-Nile.
It seems like that Kolkata Knight Riders’ bidders had a good price on pacers and that’s why they once again won his bid for Nathan Coulter-Nile for a price of 35 Million INR. From Perth, Western Australia, Coulter-Nile attended Aquinas College, and represented the state under-17 and under-19 teams, later going on to play three youth ODI matches for the Australian national under-19 team. Having held a rookie contract from the Western Australian Cricket Association (WACA) for several seasons, he made his debut at state level during the 2009–10 season, and has since become a regular selection in Western Australia and the Perth Scorchers’ fast bowling attacks.
9. Karn Sharma.
Karn Sharma is an emerging led spinner from India and surprisingly for him, he got sold to Mumbai Indians for a price of 32 million INR. He made his first-class debut in 2007/08 Ranji season at Karnail Singh Stadium against Jammu and Kashmir where he played as a specialist batsman. He scored 120 off 232 balls with 17 boundaries as Railways cricket team won by innings and 88 runs. Let’s see if he sees justice to his price tag.
10. T Natarajan.
Playing in Tamil Cricket league, the son of a laborer, who is also the most sensational story of IPL 2018 got sold King XI Punjab for 30 million Indian Rupees. It is going to be a real excitement when you will see this young lad in the action. He made his first-class debut for Tamil Nadu in the 2014–15 Ranji Trophy on 5 January 2015. He made his Twenty20 debut for Tamil Nadu in the 2016–17 Inter State Twenty-20 Tournament on 29 January 2018.
