The ODI series between Pakistan and England was a crucial chance for many players to prove themselves and make a place in the final Pakistan squad for ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. So the two star-players who couldn’t earn a place at first have finally done. After losing the series against England, Mohammad Amir got selected in place of Faheem Ashraf and Asif Ali replaced Abid Ali to make a place in the final Cricket World Cup squad.

The selection committee of Pakistan Cricket Team for ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 was facing some huge dilemmas and the series against England had to play a major role in solving them. Well, they must be glad that the series did serve its purpose even though the results were quite unfortunate where the Pakistani team had to suffer the defeat.

The 5th ODI of England vs Pakistan 5-match ODI series has not been played yet but the English team has already clinched the series and they are currently leading by 3-0.
